Sweatshirt Workshop | Confident Beginner

This beginner-friendly sewing workshop great for those who are looking to expand their sewing skills. 

During this workshop, you will learn how to sew the:

Wren Sweatshirt from Daughter Judy Patterns

If your hip size falls outside of the size range, please reach out via email (rissewn@gmail.com). We will provide a pattern that will better meet your needs.

This class will meet on Sunday, October 11th

Time:  12:00pm-4:00pm.

Location: Class will be located at Pirillo Textiles.
(3800 Merle Hay Rd Suite 912, Des Moines, IA- inside of Merle Hay Mall. Use entrance near Flix Brewhouse)

We have sewing machines available to rent for this class. If you have your own machine, you are encouraged to bring it to class. 

Materials Required:

• Knit fabric (ex. fleece, ponte, french terry, velour, etc)
                 -refer to size chart and fabric requirements
• Coordinating thread
• Ribbing for cuffs and neckband optional

Fabric and notions are not included in the cost of the workshop.

Skills you will gain:

• Basic sewing machine knowledge 
• Reading an independent pattern
• Adding a neckband and cuffs
• Attaching sleeves
• Sewing with knit fabric
• Topstitching

Cancellations must occur at least TWO WEEKS before the class for a refund to be given.
